is a hiking single hander designed to provide exciting but managable sailing for sailors in the 65 to 85kg weight range.
The light epoxy hull, modern high aspect rig, semi battened 8.5 sq. metre sail, and full complement of dual controls make The Solution a well designed dinghy catering for both aspiring and experienced helms alike.
The Solution Class Association, formed in 2007, is a non-profit organization run by an elected committee with a view to promoting the growth of the Solution in the UK and to look after the interests of all Solution owners.
Behind the scenes volunteers work tirelessly; arranging advertising, running the class website, organizing our appearance at the RYA Dinghy Show, and coordinating an exciting program of Open Events and the National Championships.
Active debate on the development of the class is fostered through our friendly online forum furthering our belief that The Solution really is an exciting dinghy, has a definite place in the UK market, and has a promising future.
The Class Association is self funding, through membership subscriptions. By becoming a member you will not only be supporting The Solution, you will also be able to enter all Open Meetings and the Nationals where you will enjoy the company of a friendly, helpful and enthusiastic circle of sailors.
